Now there is 25% off my wish list seems to have increased...
...not tenfold, but not far short...
...I am in need of some jumpers as I only have cardigans but do not know which one to choose...
...these look like a real classic and really comfy too, I would bet that they only get better with age...
...I know that I shall not purchase all these items on my wish list but at least this is a good outlet to catalogue my wants and have a think about my actual needs, ie, what is lacking in my wardrobe.
I simply adore this image taken by Jill at Polkadot Street Style. I found it moons ago but always come back to it. So easy to recreate with items found in most wardrobes...a classic blazer, skinny jeans, cowboy boots with a tee, scarf and crossbody bag...how can you go wrong with this easy, breezy look?
During October I have been stocking up on some new basics (and some not so basics) to see me through the winter season...here are my purchases...
...All Saints Cinder Origin Cardi...so soft and warm...
...New Look Knitted Snood...again very warm and such a good price...
...New Look Racer Back Vest and...
...New Look Shoestring Vest, both at prices you cannot argue with...
...La Redoute Knee High Boots, can be pulled up over the knee, or slouched down so that they finish before the knee...
...the aforementioned All Saints Taupe Editha Bag...
...New Look Wide Lef Trousers, fabulous price, really nice quality fabric and a good fit, a win, win, win situation...
...Superdry Lumberjack Hoodie, the hood is detachable so it can be worn as a regular shirt too...
...Zara Gold Jewel Button Cardi...
...All Saints Gregory Skirt...
...so as you can see, I have new items covered for both work and leisure time that will help to see me though the coming months...
...Another day, another bag...
What can I say? I have been working hard of late, have been undergoing hospital treatment that requires me not to get stressed which I have managed and I have been eating really healthy, hence I feel I had earned a treat.
I decided against the Abercrombie And Fitch handbags as whilst they are very nice, the London store does not stock any of the four styles I liked in any colourway let alone the tan colour that I wanted and shipping from the States was £30 which seems excessive, especially when spending that much money, therefore I did not make a purchase.
This handbag, although not tan (the colour in the image here is way out, in reality the bag is much more of a 'greige' colour) is a great colour that looks good with everything so will be a real trooper of an everyday bag and I shall enjoy getting plenty of use out of it over the coming months and, hopefully, years.
I don't want to sound cliche if possible but whilst walking down Bond Street the other day I was, quite literally, stopped in my tracks. Luckily no-one was walking behind me. What stopped me in my tracks I hear you ask? It was the window display of the Rene Caovilla boutique. The shoes, although I think they would be better titled 'jewellery for feet' were simply stunning.
Sadly I did not have my camera with me so I do not have and cannot find any images of the newest collection. However, here are a few images of collection past so that you may see what I am harping on about. One word; enjoy...
Inspired by a clip of Erin Kaplan whilst watching reruns of The City during a really dreary Sunday downpour, I decided to look around for a new tan handbag to carry me through the Autumn season...
Abercrombie and Fitch handbags...
...first, the Benson bag...
...second, the Hannah bag...
...third, the Lacey bag...
...and forth, the Parker bag...
...which one to purchase?
