I had an appointment in London on Monday and I just about had time to visit the new Mulberry Bond Street store to finally pick myself up one of these...the Oversized Mulberry Alexa in the Oak finish.

I am well aware that everyone is now raving about the newer Edie and Tillie bags but they simply do not do anything for me. I would much rather have the Alexa which I believe will become a classic, rather like the recently discontinued Roxanne bag which I also happen to own.
